THE PRESIDENT (Translation). - Earlier, prior to setting the preliminary questions I forgot one point : I did not ask the Assembly what procedure should be adopted with regard to votes on amendments. I suggest that we should apply the continental procedure on this point; that is when amendments to a text have been submitted, I should put them to the vote, beginning with the amendment which is further removed from the text of the main proposal.
Are there any observations on this procedure?...
The proposal is therefore adopted.
