The Assembly,

1. Recalling its Order No. 194, Recommendation 345, Order No. 218, Resolution 256, Resolution 292 and Recommendation 419 ;

2. Having convened at Strasbourg a Seminar on International Voluntary Service for technical assistance to developing countries, which held its 1st Session from 1st to 4th July 1963 and its 2nd Session from 26th to 30th October 1964 ;

3. Having taken note of the reports adopted at the two Sessions and welcoming the success of the proceedings ;

4. Having been informed of the institution, pursuant to the 2nd Session of the Seminar, of a Regional Conference on International Voluntary Service,

5. Resolves to convene at Strasbourg, from 10th to 13th October 1966, a second Seminar on International Voluntary Service on "the role of non-governmental organisations in African development" ;

6. Instructs its President to invite the organisations concerned ;

7. Instructs the Secretary General to make all the necessary organisational arrangements for the Seminar in collaboration with the Committee of the Regional Conference on International Voluntary Service.
