1. The Assembly,
2. Reiterates its condemnation of the occupation of Czechoslovakia, as already expressed in Resolution 376 (1968) ;
3. Notes that the military intervention against the Czechoslovak people is contrary to the principle of the independence of nations and has disturbed the process of détente in Europe ;
4. Expresses its hope that the firm reaction of the Czechoslovak people will in the future reduce the inclination of states to commit actions contrary to the principle of the right of self-determination of peoples ;
5. Wishes the Czechoslovak people full success in their continued struggle for greater freedom which is the pre-condition for the European states to contribute to the presently interrupted process towards détente.
