The Assembly,
1. Reaffirming its belief in parliamentary democracy ;
2. Noting that the broadcasting and televising of parliamentary debate is not yet established in all member states ;
3. Concerned lest parliaments in such states lose to the media their role as a focus for debating and determining questions of national interest,
4. Resolves to urge those national parliaments where such a facility does not yet exist to consider the broadcasting and televising of parliamentary debates where these are normally open to the public.
