1 Recommendation to the Committee of Ministers adopted 24th November 1950, at the conclusion of the Debate on the Report from the Committee on Cultural and Scientific Questions

The Assembly,

Welcomes the approval given by the Committee of Ministers to the Report drawn up by the Committee of cultural experts ;

Recommends that, in addition to the measures proposed by the experts to encourage broadcasts on the European idea, Member States be invited to allot ten minutes weekly either to national programmes on the subject, or to programmes relayed by wire from the studios of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg; these programmes to be known as " The Voice of Europe ", and introduced by the same call-sign.
