In the draft resolution, after paragraph 9.3, insert the following paragraph:

"aspire to follow the "one in three" principle in the appointment of women and men as members of ad hoc committees in charge of election observation".

Explanatory note

There are several equally important criteria that the groups have to respect when they appoint election observers. The composition of the ad hoc committees to observe elections change constantly depending on withdrawal of members and availability of substitutes at different moments
