"and not disregarded".

Explanatory note

Being a founding member of the Council of Europe (CoE), Türkiye is aware of its responsibilities stemming from its membership to the CoE including its commitment to the European Convention on Human Rights. Türkiye so far executed thousands of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR).
