The Assembly instructs the Committee on Legal and Administrative Questions, in conjunction with the Committee on Social Questions:
a to consider the present plight of the hundreds of thousands of displaced persons and refugees of European nationality, many of whom are still confined in camps or are subject to legal restrictions which deny them freedom to exercise trades or professions for which they have experience
and training or to complete the studies and training already started in their own countries;
and
b to examine the possibility of according them, as European citizens, rights and opportunities
for travel, employment and social benefits
comparable with those of the citizens of the countries in which they reside, or to which they may emigrate.
