A Draft Resolution

The Assembly,

Believing it desirable to enable a larger number of member countries to be represented in the Bureau,

Resolves to amend paragraph 1 of Rule 8 of its Rules of Procedure as follows :

" The Bureau of the Assembly shall consist of the President and of seven Vice-Presidents."

The Committee has had the opport u n i t y to discuss the motion presented by MM. James Crosbie, Mandalinci, de Menthon, Elmgren, Montini, Lutkens, Mlle. Klompé, MM. Bohy, Hermod Lannung, Lord Layton and Lord Chesham and i t has come t o t h e conclusion t h a t it would be desirable for a larger number of member countries to be represented on the Bureau. Therefore it recommends unanimously t h a t the Assembly should adopt the above draft Resolution.
