France is a key state in the European Union and has a historic presence in the Middle East, as well as military infrastructure in the Gulf States, particularly in the United Arab Emirates. You have already said something about the war, about positioning. I would be interested to know which diplomatic channels are being kept open. What role is France playing in finally putting an end to the spread of this conflict in the East?
