The Assembly,

In view of the recent natural disasters which have occurred in certain areas of some member countries;

Noting with concern the frequency of such disasters,

Recommends that the Committee of Ministers:

1 organise a warning system to protect the inhabitants of areas stricken by such disasters;

2 prepare a relief plan for the protection of the civilian population against the dangers of radio-activity in peace-time.
