The Assembly,
1. Considering the success of the 2nd Parliamentary and Scientific Conference, which was organised under the auspices of the Council of Europe, in collaboration with OECD, in Vienna from 23-27 May 1964 ;
3. Having noted the report on European scientific and technological co-operation (Doc. 2865) presented by its Committee on Science and Technology,
4. Resolves :
a to organise during 1972, a 3rd Parliamentary and Scientific Conference to which will be invited members of parliament, Ministers responsible for science, experts consisting of scientists and science managers (national, international, governmental and industrial) ;
b to instruct its Committee on Science and Technology to make the necessary arrangements for this Conference, and to report on its results ;
c to invite the Secretary General to assist the Assembly in giving effect to this resolution, and to request, if need be, the necessary means from the Committee of Ministers.
