Programme and working methods of the Committee of Ministers and of the Consultative Assembly for achieving the aims of the Council of Europe
The Assembly,
Having regard to its decision of 24th June, 1953 to re-examine such of its earlier recommendations and resolutions as might be implemented within the programme of work proposed by the Committee of Ministers ;
Considering that this re-examination should be supplemented by a study of the working methods employed ;
Considering that this Report should be considered in relation to the discussion of the aims of the Council of Europe,
Decides io substitute for the following two questions on the Agenda :
" Reconsideration , as far as possible co-operation with the Committee of Ministers, of earlier recommendations and* resolutions of the Consultative Assembly capable of application within the programme of work determined by Committee of Ministers " and
" Role of the Council of Europe in the new pattern of organization of Europe ",
the following question :
" Programme and working methods of the Committee of Ministers and of the Consultative Assembly for achieving the present and future aims of the Council of Europe. "
