Strasbourg, 27.11.2007 – The sub-Committee on Sustainable Development of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will hold a hearing in Paris, Thursday 29 November, on global warming and ecological disasters, in the framework of a report prepared by Alan Meale (United Kingdom, SOC).
The experts invited include Pierre Friedlingstein of the French National Scientific Research Centre (CNRS, France), and Elena Manaenkova, from the World Meteorological Organisation (WMO).
The hearing is open to the press.
