Strasbourg, 06.06.2013 - A PACE delegation will travel to Baku on 11 June for a parliamentary conference on ‘The well-being of children as an indicator for the well-being of society’, in the framework of the implementation in Azerbaijan of the ONE-in-FIVE campaign to stop sexual violence against children, organised on the initiative of Sevinj Fataliyeva (Azerbaijan, EDG), Azeri contact parliamentarian for the campaign.
Participants – including government representatives, parliamentarians, representatives of civil society and international experts – will examine topics such as protecting children in their circle of trust, the security of children in cyberspace and examples of good national practice for keeping children safe in various contexts in times of globalisation.
