The Assembly,
1. Conscious that the achievement of economic unity in Europe is likely to become more and not less difficult with the passage of time;
2. Welcoming the initiative of the British Government and the support of it by other EFTA Governments in seeking to obtain a situation in which negotiations for the enlargement of the European Economic Community could be brought to a successful and rapid conclusion,
3. Calls on all those concerned to use their best endeavour to ensure that the consultations can be brought to a successful conclusion without avoidable delay.
