In the draft resolution, replace paragraph 7.10 with the following paragraph:

"the Director of Europol’s remarks, subsequently not taken up by his successor, about co-operation with the Maltese police on the case."

Explanatory note

Paragraph 7 is based on a consistently one-sided interpretation of facts, on possible non-facts, and speculation. The amendments still allow reference to the allegations but also refer to the rebuttals and explanations thereby respecting the right of the reader to form his or her opinions.
