Strasbourg, 25.05.2010 – The Committee on the Environment, Agriculture and Local and Regional Affairs of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly (PACE) will hold in Paris on 28 May at 2.30 p.m. a hearing on genetically modified organisms (Council of Europe Paris Office, 55, avenue Kléber, 75116 Paris, metro Boissière), to prepare a report on the subject by Jean-François Le Grand (France, EPP/CD).
Participants include Yann Fichet, Director responsible for Institutional and Industrial Affairs, Monsanto Agriculture, France SAS; Arnaud Apoteker, Director for the Greenpeace Campaign on GMO-France, Yves Chupeau, Research Director at INRA (Institut nationale de la recherche agronomique) France, Michel David, National Secretary, French Peasants Confederation and Roxanne Mitralias, Responsible for the GMOs of the Confederation.
