The Assembly,

Having considered the Report drawn up for it by the Secretariat-General at the suggestion of the Committee on General Affairs. (Doc. AS (2) 85) on the informing of European public opinion,

Recommends that the Committee of Ministers should furnish the Secretariat-General with facilities for the development, with the least possible delay, of the work of its Information Directorate. This work should be carried out in the various Member States in collaboration with the competent Government departments.
