Consultative status to be granted to international non-governmental organisations

The Standing Committee,

1. Acting on behalf of the Consultative Assembly, in accordance with Order No. 185;

2. Having regard to the opinions expressed by the Committee on Economic Affairs and Development (Docs. 2611, 2612 and 2613), and by the Committee on Social and Health Questions (Docs. 2676, 2677 and 2678),

3. Recommends that the Committee of Ministers grant consultative status, Category II, to the international non-governmental organisations named below :

a Council of the Professional Photographers of Europe (EUROPHOT) ;

b International Hotel Association ;

c International Association of Schools of Social Work ;

d International Council of Social Democratic Women ;

4. Recommends that the Committee of Ministers reject the applications for consultative status submitted by :

a The International Federation of Watchmakers, Manufacturing Jewellers, Goldsmiths and Jewellery Retailers of the European Economic Community ;

b The International Association of Women and Home Page Journalists.
