The Assembly,

Having considered the Statute of the European Prize founded by a Hamburg family, under the auspices of the F. V. S. Foundation, to be awarded for an outstanding work in science, literature, administration or journalism, likely to promote European unity;

Considering that it has been proposed that the Consultative Assembly should associate itself with the award of the Prize,

Expresses its warm thanks to the donor and promoters of the Prize;

Accepts the proposal that the Consultative Assembly should participate in the award of the Prize.
