1. The Committee of Ministers wishes to
inform the Honourable Parliamentarian that it is continuing to examine
the state of execution of the A., B. and C. v. Ireland case within
the framework of its role of supervision of the execution of the
Court’s judgments. The Committee has decided to supervise the execution
of the above-mentioned case under the enhanced procedure, applying
the criteria set out in its decision approved at the 1100th meeting
(DH) (December 2010) (point e), in view of the complex nature of
the issues raised by this case. The state of execution of the A.,
B. and C. v. Ireland case was accordingly last examined by the Ministers’ Deputies
at their 1157th meeting (DH) (December 2012) and 1164th meeting
(DH) (March 2013).
2. As regards the other questions raised by the Honourable Parliamentarian,
the Committee of Ministers underlines that on this issue, as on
any other, the Committee and the European Court of Human Rights exercise
their functions strictly within the framework of their respective
mandates as provided by the European Convention on Human Rights.
