In the draft resolution, paragraph 8.1.4, replace the words "by incorporating good practices from the teaching of foreign languages into the methodological approach adopted for teaching the official language"

with the following words:

"by improving the quality of education in the official language and promoting access to bilingual education".

Explanatory note

Learing the official language of the State is a right. Persons belonging to national minorities should benefit from the best opportunities to learn this language, notably through access to bilingual education.
