In the draft opinion, at the end of paragraph 21, insert the following sentence:

"The contribution to the ordinary budget to be paid by a member State must be in line with art. 38 of the Statute."

Explanatory note

The statute, at art. 38, clearly indicates that the funding must be proportional to the population of the Country.

The Committee of Ministers adopted Resolution (94)31 on the method of calculating the scales of member States contribution according to the Statute.
