"In the light of the long-standing issues pertaining to the rule of law and democracy that remain largely unaddressed by the authorities, the Assembly therefore resolves to continue to closely follow the developments with regard to the functioning of democratic institutions and the rule of law in Hungary and decides to open the monitoring procedure in respect of Hungary until the above-mentioned concerns are addressed in a satisfactory manner."
