26/06/2019 | 20:12:39 Thank you, Madam President. This is more of  a personal statement. Madam President, today I voted against Resolution number 14-922 about the credentials of the Parliamentary Delegation of the Russian Federation. In the system, on the website, I see abstain. I didn't make a mistake, I pressed the correct button. I have witnesses who were sitting in this row with me. Madame President, I'm calling on you to ask if you could please change my vote in the system, and in the results on the website... 24/06/2019 | 18:08:53 Madam President, The Rapporteur, I've supported your reports many times but not this time. I think this report splits the chamber, splits the political groups, splits delegations and, finally, splits European countries. Today, we should celebrate together the 70th anniversary of the Council of Europe but as we could see in the morning, life is changing and is full of surprises. Do you remember dear colleagues, do you know, why the Council of Europe was created? That means that anybody convicted for corruption cannot work in the public sector for the rest of their lives. There is also... 12/04/2019 | 11:47:23 First, I thank the rapporteur for a very good report and excellent work – long and hard work. Today, my speech is not a statement but a question to the rapporteur, because in my opinion there are two sides to this issue. The first side is the safety of our data – our confidential personal data, and so on. However, the other side is that there is a lot of fake news and hate speech on social media. I was thinking about a solution. Try to imagine an algorithm that detects posts that potentially... 11/04/2019 | 15:49:56 On behalf of my group, I thank the rapporteur for this important report and the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights for its hard work and high level of commitment. Corruption, organised crime, and money laundering are serious and growing threats to the rule of law and are obstacles to democratic and economic development, as noted in the report. The Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights is deeply concerned about the extent of money laundering involving Council of Europe member...
