At its next meeting in the margins of the PACE plenary session, the informal ‘[email protected]’ group will hold an exchange of views on “Barriers in breast cancer detection and treatment”.
Professor Carole Mathelin – an obstetrician-gynaecologist, Vice-Chairperson of the Senologic International Society for Europe and Head of the Senology Commission of the National College of French Gynaecologists – will give an overview of the situation in Europe, and exchange views with the participants. Professor Mathelin is currently developing a research project to establish the link between the environment and breast cancer and will provide information on this aspect.
October is breast cancer awareness month.
This exchange of views is scheduled for Tuesday 11 October from 1 pm to 2 pm in Room 1.
