The Assembly advocates for the unconditional implementation of recommendations by the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance, and urges member States to ensure unrestricted religious practice in line with the European Convention on Human Rights. It highlights the crucial role of education in combating ignorance and fostering respect among different beliefs, advocating for objective and pluralistic religious education. Public figures are called upon to combat religious hatred and intolerance, especially amidst armed conflicts such as the war in Ukraine. Member States, alongside observers and partners, are urged to collect data on religious discrimination, provide training for public officials on religious literacy, foster media cooperation to counter stereotypes, and promote interreligious dialogue. The Assembly praises the No Hate Parliamentary Alliance's efforts and encourages political parties to endorse a non-racist charter, fostering diversity and inclusion.
