The Assembly :

1. Notes the provisional conclusions of the ad hoc committee established by the Bureau to observe the recent parliamentary elections in Albania (Doc. 6406, Addendum II) to the effect that further contacts between the Council of Europe and Albania should be encouraged ;

2. Instructs its Social, Health and Family Affairs Committee, in the context of follow-up action to Recommendation 1153 (1991) on concerted European policies for health, and further to references made inDocument 6406and the debate thereon to the plight of certain hospitals in Albania, to explore ways of meeting the most urgent needs.
