The Assembly has taken note with keen satisfaction of the first Report transmitted to it by the World Health Organisation. It warmly welcomes the Report, believing that this mode of co-operation will prove most valuable in the future.
The Report has afforded the Assembly an opportunity of studying the work of the World Health Organisation and of assessing the achievements of the latter in its particular sphere.
The Assembly fully approves of the arrangements made for the exchange of information and technical assirtance, and hopes that these arrangements, enabling the countries concerned mutually to benefit from their varied experience, will be progressively extended and thus contribute to international solidarity in the sphere of public health.
