The Committee on Political Affairs, which will meet on 7 May in Athens, is due to adopt the report by Liliane Maury Pasquier (Switzerland, SOC) on the parliamentary contribution to solving the Western Sahara conflict, and the report by Andreas Gross (Switzerland, SOC) entitled “Towards a better European democracy: facing the challenges of a federal Europe”.
The committee will also hold an exchange of views on the situation in Kosovo*, with the Director of the European Studies Centre and of South East European Studies at Oxford (SEESOX), and with the Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency in Kosovo.
*All references to Kosovo, whether to the territory, institutions or population, in this text shall be understood in full compliance with United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 and without prejudice to the status of Kosovo.
