Migration, the response to terror and conflicts in Europe were once again major themes during the debate on the progress report of the Bureau and the Standing Committee – which covers the activities and decisions of the Assembly’s subsidiary bodies since the last session.
“Europe faces major challenges,” acknowledged Ioanneta Kavvadia (Greece, UEL), reviewing the many actions taken by the Assembly to deal with these challenges and uphold human rights across the continent.
