A 9-member delegation from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), led by Oleksii Goncharenko (Ukraine, EC/DA), will travel to Bulgaria from 7 to 10 June to observe the conduct of the early parliamentary elections on 9 June.
The delegation will meet the team of election experts from the OSCE's Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), leaders or representatives of political parties and coalitions, the Chairperson and members of the Central Election Commission, as well as representatives of NGOs and the media, before observing the ballot on 9 June.
A member of the Venice Commission – the Council of Europe's group of independent legal experts – will provide legal support during the visit organised by PACE Elections Division.

The delegation will issue a statement the day after the elections, Monday 10 June.
